about

Born in Nantes, Pascal Lebrain (better known as Puyo Puyo) is one of the funniest, most strident, intelligent and loved musical creators of the French lo-fi musical panorama.

Puyo Puyo has a world of his own; a world clearly influenced by the science fiction universe and its relationship with technology.
Dressed in his own costume, as a robot with a massive head, at each live concert he shakes the audience with his Puyo Puyo dance. The inclusion of video projections and animations he has made himself gives a special atmosphere to each theme.

He is, together with Eva Lebrain, director and host of one of the most interesting radio programs in France, called The Brain. In this program, they recover music from different eras - themes always characterized by their originality and rarity - thus, becoming true investigators and promoters of the most unusual music.

He has published several works with different music publishers; works such as Gagarin, Ego Twister, Wilko, Stora etc and now, with La Olla Expréss, his latest work, "Orphan Tunes from the Mono Times".
